I have just seen an American series called Prison Break. I think I have lost myself in it. The story shows how deep the relationship of brothers can be. I am already moved by what the two brothers and their friends did for each other. Furthermore, I also admire the intelligence of the leading actor-Michel Scofield. He wanted to save his brother Linc who was falsely incriminated by others. So he robbed bank on purpose to be arrested and could serve a sentence in the same prison with his brother. And then he started his plan which he had made cautiously before he was arrested.Before I saw the series, I had heard many comments about Prison Break. But I just ignored what they said, because in my opinion it must just focus on how they get out of the prison. To my surprise, what the director mostly wants to tell people is the emotion among people such as friendship, love and relationship of brothers. And also the story is based on the background of the politics of the USA. So the adventurous experience of them attracted me so much that I can not get out of it.
I think another reason of the success of this series is the undulating development. My heart was always caught by the development of everyone when watching the story. Sometimes I might worry about whether they could escape smoothly; sometimes I would analyze who was the real murderer. The sudden death of someone could make me very sad; the accidental rencounter can also make me happy.
I think a successful film should not only be attractive but also can show the viewers some principle or something to take in consider. Prison Break is the one which I say above. As a result, more and more people, no matter the old or the young, like to join the Prison Break funs.
I hope that you can be fond of it after my introduction and learn something in it.
I haven’t watched this film, but I have heard it before, and it seems that whoever has watched a little of it can’t help being addicted to it. But I still don’t want to watch it because I consider it a violent and conspiratorial one according its name until I’ve seen your article. Even though the details you described are fantastic and the plot developed excitingly, these are not the reason I appreciate your article. In my opinion, it’s the love they showed that makes me feel deeply moved. In the world, what thing except love could drive a person to sacrifice himself for another person? Nothing! I think I will watch this movie when I have spare time, and I can’t wait to. I hope I can feel and share the love in this wonderful movie. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteI’ve already found that you like prison break very much, from the wallpaper of your laptop screen. After reading your article, I became interested in it too. As far as I know, watching American series can be very helpful when it comes to practice English listening skills. So, I am glad that you have a chance to get improvement. And American movies and series always try to convey something about love and life in order to educate people rather than entertain people only. I am looking forward to seeing it some time to share your pleasure since you’ve described it like a good production.
ReplyDeleteI managed to watch glimpses of an episode from Prison Break (the reason was to check on what my daughter was watching and why she was so hooked on the series). However, I found the few minutes of watching too violent for me. No doubt, the plot may be enticing. Then again, I do not want to be addicted to the series as well. Perhaps, if I have some leisure time to spare, I may consider watching it...Just to see how a civilian can get through the security.
ReplyDeletePrison Break is the first american series and also the best series in my heart. I was introduced to theis series by my mother. At first, just like somebody else, I doubted whether it is truly absorbing to so many people even including people at the age of my mother's. But it turned out that it did has the glammour to attract all kinds of people.(This can be proved by that later my grandma became a Prison Break fan as well). Besides what the author said, another very important reason to make this series well-accepted is the true love between Micheal Scofield and Sarah Tancridi. I recommend everyone the Prison Break Season 1, once you watch it, you will not be able to get that "prison" out. Just let all the charachaters to lead you out.
