Children are influenced by the economic crisis

The economic crisis has not only influenced adults, but also influenced the children.
A 13-year-old boy called Xu Mingjie didn’t know what the economic crisis is, but he knew that many other people like his father were also in the trouble of unemployment. He observed that he had used the mobile phone for two years whose functions were only making calls and sending messages.
His family was living a poor life in a leasehold house. The life was up tighter due to the unemployment of Xu’s father. They just lived on the few revenues of part-time jobs. Xu said he could get 4 dollars as his pocket money, but now he could only get 3 dollars. He could also realize the trouble of the economy from the dinner. Now they ate meat only once a week and had less rice.
Sometimes he wanted to do some part-time jobs for the fast food restaurant to earn some money, but he couldn’t be admitted because of the under aged. So, what he could do is just trying his best to study well to get the scholarship.
We can infer that young generation may not define the economic crisis professionally, but they can also feel the difficulty of their family. They may get the pressure that parents have to work harder to pay for their tuition. If they can’t study well, they will disappoint their parents. So what I want to say is that we can’t ignore the students who don’t study well and can’t get the scholarship to go to school. Everyone has the right to study instead of dropping out of school. Financial crisis should not affect the children and make people ignore the emotion of teenagers. In my opinion, governments and welfare organizations should make effort to deal with these problems and make children be far away from the influences of economic crisis.

  1. I agree with you that every child should be given the opportunity to get an education. Only through education can a person get out of the poverty cycle.
