Apart from celebrate the Chinese New Year in my four-day holiday; we went to the tallest building of Singapore. It is a hotel which is called Swissotel the Stamford, very near from the City Hall MRT station. It is 71 levers tall, however, the top of the building is a pub called New Asia and we are considered too young to enter. So, we just went upstairs to 70 levers for sightseeing.
I have never watched the city in such a view at such a height before. All the building was under my feet. The house, the bus, the car, and also the people seemed become small suddenly. I could see the Singapore River flow in the nearer place through the French window and the pleasure boat floating on the water surface. I tried to see something farther and a crowed of tall buildings came to my eyes, like Republic Plaza,OCBC Center and so on. .
It is very amazing and I am a bit of afraid (it's so high, you know).
Then, an idea came to me suddenly that could I find Eton Hall there. But I failed, because all I can see in the direction is a short hill and a lot of green trees. However, Labrador is available in the sight. A lot of ships paused on the peaceful narrow sea. The sea in Singapore is always narrow and busy; the strange thought stick my mind and made me a little disappointed. I can't see the wharf clearly. But I thought it must be busy anyway, just like the wharf in China.
It is said that the building in Singapore will never be taller even in the long future. Because as a small island, the airline of Singapore couldn't allow a taller building, or there will be a safety problem exist.
Swissotel the Stamford may be the best place to watch the beautiful garden city. I haven't told you the feeling when I stepped out of the lift with the French window coming to my eyes. The feeling is direct and simple, in fact. This is Singapore city, this is!

I was enchanted into description of the tallest building in Singapore and the landscape surrounding it. The distant sceneries are also very attractive. The beautiful sea, the bustling wharf, the green trees in sight and the crowd of tall buildings. I felt glad that you got a different view of the Garden City and enjoyed a joyous visit to the tallest hotel. Your blog evoked the impulse in my mind to go out and pack a lot of sightseeing into my memory. Hope you can introduce more tourist attractions in Singapore so that we can share the happiness of your new finds together.
