Who Controls the World?

Recently, I have finished reading a book called “Currency War” which was written by a Chinese economist, Song Hongbing. Currency War is just its direct English translation. The author raised a new point in his book that the world has been under control of a family, Rothschild. He believes that the Rothschild family has control the world since after French failure in Waterloo and politicians on the world’s stage who are the world’s focuses are only puppets controlled by the bankers. He even suspects that the murders of several American presidents were associated with the bankers in the background. It seems from his points that Rothschild family can do anything they want without any limit and they will initiate economy war to destroy the bank system in case of any resistance.
But I could not totally believe what he said in his book. Because the world is becoming more and more complex now and it is too difficult for only a family and its related banks to control the world. But the author insists that the bankers have rights to issue currency and if they control the currency, they can own everything. But I think it is not logical because currency is only pieces of paper without gold to support its value. Bankers also do not have the ability to control the army. So actually they do not have the basic forces to destroy a country. Frankly speaking, the whole book is full of nonsense.
In the end of his book, he holds his opinion that China is at risk of the attack of international financier. But I think it cannot be something serious. China is such a large country and it cannot be conquered by some financiers. So the world still belongs to all of us but not the financiers. We can still strive for our future through our effort.
